DA leader Mmusi Maimane seemed to have really opened a can of worms with his tactless remark on white privilege last week, using his own wife in the crudest manner imaginable as an example.

No wonder Times Live nominated him “Mamparra of the week”

Which makes one wonder about how underpriviliged poor little black Mmusi really is with his expensive suits and his expensive shoes and his expensive watch and his salary of R1 494 929.00 per annum and his fancy house and his fake colonialist English pronunciation?

And then you went on and proclaimed yourself “Mini Mandela”! The moment was just too big for you, wasn’t it?

White privilege? No Maimane. Cheap canvassing for black votes. Because with 119 racially based laws to the advantage of the non-white population, with BEE and Affirmative Action and the destruction of our language in schools and universities, White Privilege exists in your racist imagination. I can show you numbers of examples of what discrimination against whites look like.

You didn’t get away with that cheap trick.

And why not? Because neither you nor Ramaphosa or any leader of a black political party can come up with a sensible answer to this fundamental question:

Why is it that, after 24 years in power and being the only country in the world where affirmative policies are designed to benefit the majority of the population, this majority of more than 40 million still has such an obsession with the existence of a mere 4 million people?

Why won’t you just leave us in peace, allow us to claim our right to self determination and to be who we are? And then start rebuilding your own existence without looking for a scapegoat, for an excuse and always for a pitiful reason to feel sorry for yourself?

You made a mamparra of yourself and you made your party the laughing stock of the political establishment.
