President Cyril Ramaphosa is prepared for the fight initiated by susspended SARS boss, Tom Moyane.

Moyane was suspended in March over various matters, including the manner in which he handled the Financial Intelligence Centre report that raised red flags about his second-in-charge, Jonas Makwakwa.

The revenue services’ commissioner gave the president an ultimatum to meet a set of demands by Tuesday or face court action.

Moyane’s legal team raised concerns about the disciplinary process, which is expected to be conducted in writing.

The presidency maintains that the disciplinary procedure for Moyane is fair and just and has decided to take a tough stance on him. ')}
