Ajax Cape Town have provided an update on the Tendai Ndoro ruling after the case went to the high court.

It was reported by the club yesterday that Ajax’s case involving Ndoro’s ineligibility to play, was set to take place in the Gauteng High Court after Ajax brought an urgent application for an interdict against the ruling.

Now, after the matter was heard at the High Court, Ajax confirmed that the FIFA Players’ Status Committee agreed with Ajax with regards to the association not having jurisdiction on the matter.

According to the club, the case is now referred back to ‘the competent authorities in Mzansi’.

FIFA has expressed the view that it does not have the power to take decision and brought the case back to PSL. ')}
